About an hour (north) from the Ewalds. You can rent a car there or explore shuttle options.
Bozeman (BZN) Airport
Approx. 2.5 hours from the Ewalds. This is a good option if you want to spend more time around the state including Yellowstone, Glacier or any number of the glorious wilderness areas. Bozeman BZN will offer more flight options than Billings.
